Vacature
As Finance Director, you will lead the Finance teams supporting all of Sonova’s business channels in the Netherlands. You will be the central point of contact for Finance, with overall responsibility for financial leadership, transparency and performance across the Dutch organisation. A key priority will be to further integrate the Finance organisations and drive greater efficiency and synergy across the different business channels.
You will report to the Senior Director Finance Cluster and act as the key financial business partner to the Dutch Market Leaders and local leadership teams. From a Finance perspective, you will also serve as the link between the Netherlands and the Cluster, Region and Group organisations. You will ensure a consistent financial approach and safeguard alignment with Sonova Group policies and controls.
Tasks and responsibilities Market Finance Leadership • Lead the Finance function across the Dutch market, ensuring one aligned structure, voice, and financial narrative
Finance Operating Model, Efficiency & Synergies
- Drive efficiency, synergies, and simplification across channels
- Implement the Finance Target Operating Model and optimize processes, systems, and ways of working
- Lead automation, shared services, and other transformation initiatives
Strategic Business Partnering & Performance
- Partner with senior business leaders to drive performance and value creation
- Provide financial insights to support strategic and commercial decision-making
- Drive business performance, value creation, and cross-channel alignment
Governance, Compliance & Control
- Oversee statutory reporting, compliance, internal controls, audit, and risk management
- Ensure high-quality financial data, KPIs, systems, and performance measurement
- Coordinate effectively with Group functions and shared services
Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
- Lead target setting, budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX planning, and performance reporting
- Ensure consistent, accurate, and timely financial information and analysis
Business Development & M&A
- Provide Finance leadership for M&A, acquisitions, greenfield initiatives, and other strategic investments
- Translate business strategy into robust financial plans and execution
Finance Organization & Talent
- Build and lead a high-performingFinance organization
- Define the organization, capabilities, and talent agenda for the market
- Foster collaboration, accountability, engagement, and a performance-driven culture
- 10+ years of senior Finance leadership experience, ideally as a Market CFO or Finance Director
- Strong expertise in financial management, performance management, reporting, governance, and controlling
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-entity or multi-channel Finance organizations in matrix environments
- Track record in Finance transformation, operating model design, standardization, simplification, and efficiency improvement
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate insights into action and drive execution
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, align across functions, and navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Strong people leadership skills, with experience building high-performing teams and fostering accountability and collaboration
- High integrity, strong ownership, and a pragmatic, results-oriented approach
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Finance processes, Finance Target Operating Models, systems, and data environments
- Fluent in English and Dutch
